MOVING! The very thought of it can send chills down our spine and can cause us to break out into a cold sweat. Experts say that any kind of "change" creates "stress". Moving, (and especially if we are relocating to a new city or state), represents a huge change and naturally brings about a great deal of stress. This can be a double whammy, because stress can lead to a lack of energy and motivation. Many of us tend to procrastinate during stressful periods of our lives. This is one time, though, when we must rise above that. When preparing for a move we need to put the pedal to the metal and get a lot of things done. Moving and relocating calls for being proactive, grabbing the bull by the horns, and actually completing certain chores well in advance of their deadline. Get Rid Of What You Don't Need. Many of us are "pack rats". One thing that we can get out of the way immediately is going through all of our "stuff" and getting rid of what we don't need anymore. Moving unwanted clothing and bric-a-bracs from one place of residence to another to is a great waste of time and effort.

It is surprising how much more in control we feel once we start narrowing down our "inventory" to what we actually need to keep. Getting rid of the unwanted items can be done by having a garage sale long before moving time and then donating the leftovers to the Salvation Army or other charitable groups. Get All Important Papers And Documents Together And Secure Them.Since moving is hectic, to say the least, we need to be aware of the exact location of all of our important items. Things that we certainly don't want to lose or misplace should be "hand carried" and not put in a box for the movers:Address BooksBirth CertificatesBank StatementsChecksCredit Cards and Statements Home MoviesIrreplaceable MemorabiliaInsurance PoliciesMarriage RecordsMedical and Dental RecordsMilitary RecordsPassportsPhotos and Photo AlbumsResumesSchool RecordsStock CertificatesTax ReturnsTelephone NumbersVehicle DocumentsWills Prepare Well In Advance For Living At Your New Location. There are many things that we can do at our new location well in advance of our move that will help smooth out the bumps and grinds of our relocation process when the actual event occurs: Open up new bank accounts. Open up a new Safe Deposit Box. Contact the new area utility companies and arrange for your new services.

These can include Cable TV, gas, electric, oil, telephone, water and Internet access. Arrange for new medical providers. If you are moving to a new state, contact the DMV and get forms necessary to re-register your vehicles. Contact your insurance companies and find out if your car insurance, homeowner's insurance, etc. can be transferred. If not, find an Insurance Broker in your new area and discuss your needs and requirements for new policies. Go to the post office and get a moving kit. Prepare change of address forms for all of your correspondents; credit card companies, other credit accounts, banks, insurance companies, current utility companies for final !statements, magazines and other subscriptions, family, friends, and any other persons or businesses that you correspond with on a regular basis. As The Time Approaches, Get A Nice New Sintered Sprocket Metal Parts Legal Pad.As moving day approaches and when the moving process actually begins, you don't want to be hunting for phone numbers in wallets, purses, or address books. Have a nice new legal pad ready with all important phone numbers written clearly and legibly for both your old and new contacts:BanksDoctorsEmergency Contacts.Family MembersFriendsLandlords or Real Estate BrokersMoversPharmaciesSchoolsStorage FacilitiesUtility CompaniesWith proper planning and preparation the moving process, though never fun, can at least be sane.

With proper planning and preparation the utilities at your present address can be disconnected the day after you move and the utilities at your new address can be connected the day prior to your arrival. With proper planning and preparation you will not be frantically searching for a new doctor or pharmacy, if that unfortunate need arises. With proper planning and preparation you will have all of your important documents at the tip of your fingers at all times. With proper planning and preparation your mail will start arriving the day after you move in to your new abode and your life will endure a minimum of chaos and clutter. Good luck with your move and good luck in your new home or apartment.

When you plan the design of your trade show display, it is important to think of your trade show booth floor as your fifth wall. The flooring of your trade show booth should always complement-- and enhance-- the environment of your trade show display. In fact, your choice of flooring can add a third dimension to your trade show booth. When the city of Chicago used full-color digitally printed footprints- in- the sand on their trade show carpet, it was the starting point of a "follow me" tour of the Chicago area that made their booth 3 dimensional. Their realistic footprints-in-sand carpet graphics enticed visitors to follow the footprints leading up to Lake Michigan shown graphically on the trade show booth wall. It was a clever way to explore the terrain of the city of Chicago and its environs. Imaginative trade show flooring can create 3 dimensional trade show booths with flooring that uses footprints, railroad tracks, and other devices that stimulate a "follow me" look.Using creative flooring graphics can enhance the look of your trade show booth. By merely adding imaginative carpeting concepts to your trade show exhibit, you will be able to successfully update the look of your existing trade show booth.

Also, compelling floor designs can act as a beacon inviting visitors to view featured products perched on top of attention-getting floor destinations.Contemporary flooring uses materials that are now easier to use and ship. New lightweight and durable flooring materials can easily roll up like carpet. Interlocking floors are extremely portable and can handle the demands of small and large trade show exhibitors. With new 10' wide carpet panels, flex floor panels, pre-measured padding and carpet bags with wheels, trade show flooring assembles faster, and is easier to dismantle and less costly to ship. Today's trade show booth flooring concepts offer a greater variety of choices than ever before-- from carpets in solid or specifically dyed colors, inlays and logos, to flex floors that look like stone, metal, fabric or hardwoods. Consider the addition of a corporate logo or brand name to exhibit flooring to make and reinforce your brand impression.

The application of border designs, custom inlays and carpet sculpting can significantly add a quality look to your trade show booth décor.According to Dave Walens, President of Brumark, a flooring solutions company for the trade show and event industry headquartered in Marietta, Georgia, there are many smart and flexible innovations in flooring for today's trade show exhibitor. Walens mentions that one new innovation is the plastic tile raised floor that is a quick to install China Powder Metal Parts Manufacturers and an easy way to level the trade show booth floor. It has the advantage of allowing you to manage electrical, plumbing and air easily and effectively under your trade show exhibit without the threat of damage or the inconvenience of large carpeting. The system's integrated shipping pallet makes packing, loading and unloading quick and simple. The raised floor is also pleasing to the eye and the slightly elevated surface can enhance the decor of the trade show booth.Rubber flooring can be used for areas subject to heavy wear. The durability, flexibility, safety, comfort, slip resistance and aesthetic appeal makes rubber flooring an appealing option for both indoor and outdoor flooring applications.Padding is also available to provide comfort for those trade show booth attendants who spend long hours on their feet. Visitors often notice the extra cushioning as well with appreciative comments to the trade show exhibit hosts.Walens adds that, in addition to the trade show floor materials, the trade show exhibitor must be mindful of carpet accessories such as tape, clear plastic sheets used to protect the carpet from damage, and flat extension cords with lighted ends that eliminate bumps under your carpet or flooring.

This works well whether you are considering a trade show booth at the McCormick Convention Center in Chicago, the Kaiser Convention Center in Oakland, the Moscone Center in San Francisco, the Santa Clara Convention Center or the San Jose McEnery Convention CenterRemember when trade show exhibitors think out- of- the- box exposure ideas for their trade show booth, they often consider overhead hanging signs. However, if you properly integrate your trade show flooring into the design of your trade show display, you can have a successful exhibit experience by providing underfoot appeal to your trade show booth visitors as well.

A snake biting it's own tail so as to make a circle is a particularly potent symbol of everlasting love.. The shape of jewelry too can harbor a romantic message.. Certainly that vivid blood red and cool serpent green are hard to ignore. They are sensuous and mysterious. The little something extra that comes of wearing something truly special.Perhaps that is why gold is such a popular metal for jewelry. The pearls were arranged in a rainbow strung together so that each color melted into the one next to it -- stunning. Sometimes this made for interesting and not necessarily attractive settings; but it is very romantic. REGARD: Ruby, Emerald, Garnet, Amethyst, Ruby and Diamond. and, of course, for many people, diamonds. For instance a piece of jewelry might have these gems in order:LOVE: Lapis, Opal, Vermeil and Emerald. Actually diamonds were not historically valued as highly was we do today. To quote Ophelia "There's rosemary, that's for remembrance; pray, love, remember: and there is pansies. to look sophisticated, to look professional, to impress our friends and neighbors. Pearls have been prized in all time periods and all cultures.

They come in a range of colors from spectacular purples and greens, through pinks to sophisticated browns... Historically baroque pearls (large irregularly shaped pearls) were used to make wonderful and fantastic jewelry by embellishing them with gold an gems. Pearls feel wonderful against your skin.Interestingly lizards and frogs were (and perhaps still are) also symbols of wedded happiness... That jewelry that takes you out of your normal hum drum life each time you put it on. I love silver and platinum and there are other metals (titanium comes to mind) that make great jewelry, but there is nothing like the romance of gold.Jewelry in the shape of flowers may also be symbolic.. To look deeply into a fine pearl is to look into eternity. And of course what could be more romantic than pearls from Tahiti?(By the way, if you wear pearls, do wear them against your skin, it is good for them, but be sure that you do not wear any perfume, scent or lotion, at least not where it might contact your pearls."Well," you may ask, "isn't jewelry romantic by it's very nature?"To some extent this is true, but we wear jewelry for any number of reasons that are not romantic.Other jewels that inspire feelings of romance are pearls, emeralds and rubies. There is also something intriguing about a pearl, knowing that is came not from the cold hard ground, but from an industrious mollusk.. Even today emeralds and rubies of equal size and quality are more expensive than equivalent diamonds.

For many cultures, including the Romans and the Victorians, snakes were a symbol of enduring love.Romantic jewelry is that jewelry that makes you feel special, different, like a princess or a prince. In Victorian times colored gems were used to spell out love messages. Hearts and clasped hands, hands holding a heart (Claddagh) and cupids are self explanatory, but some shapes are a bit more subtle. Somehow though diamonds don't seem to have the same warmth and romance as the other stones. All are lovely and the range of colors gives them a great deal of flexibility in choosing just the right pearl for your outfit and mood.. The Canning Jewel in the Victoria and Albert museum is a famous and elaborate use of a baroque as the base for a handsome merman.Black pearls, particularly Tahitian black pearls have become very popular in recent years. That's for thoughts. so I will leave diamonds for another day.Something more like this definition from the dictionary:"A quality or feeling of mystery, excitement, and remoteness from everyday life"That wonderful fission, that bit of a chill that you get from something that is just, well, more than day to day life.)Emeralds and rubies are traditionally the emperor and empress of gems. Perhaps it is their vibrant colors that inspired our ancestors. If you want to feel like royalty (or if you want to give a gift that says you think of your beloved as a king or queen), gold is the answer. To wear gold is to wear the jewelry of kings and queens.

When you are considering the perfect gift from that next anniversary, rather than the common "anniversary ring" how about a more romantic bouquet pendant? So the next time you are rooting through your jewel box before that special tryst or looking for the perfect gift for the perfect lover, consider the symbolic romance of jewelry and gems. In ancient Egypt only the pharaohs and those especially favored by the pharaohs were permitted to wear gold."Other flowers commonly found in jewelry are daisies for innocence, roses for the growth and continuation of love and bouquets expressing the commingling and compatibility of marriage. The most beautiful black pearl necklace I've seen was from Morrison's a small manufacturing jeweler in Berkeley. Much of the romance that has been China Custom MIM products Powder Metal Parts Factory generated around diamonds is do to de Beers in the early part of the 20th century instituting a brilliant and very effective advertising campaign. So what about the romance of jewelry? In this case I'm talking about romance in a broader sense than simply relationships. Perhaps this explains the continuing popularity of jewelry depicting this wiggly creatures. Prince Albert gave Queen Victoria a snake engagement ring -- the beginning of a long and celebrated marriage. On the other hand pearls. This feeling of being special and above the fray has continued to the modern day. Frequently these took the shape of Neptune or other greek gods, sirens, beautiful women and animals

To make his invention more appealing he stuck two halves of an acoustic guitar on either side, giving it a more traditional look. By the mid-18th century the guitar began to take its modern form. This is due to confusion, however, mainly with the similarity of its name with the Kithara. Firstly the strings used, which were cat gut until that time, were replaced by metal and nylon ones. Since then various forms of the guitar have come and gone but the main form of the instrument has rarely differed far from what we have seen from the 1950's onwards. The guitar became very popular with people because it was a very easy instrument to learn at least a few basic chords and songs. This required additional bracing to strengthen the body, and the introduction of the truss rod to give support to the neck. The Kithara was in fact a type of harp or lyra, which bares little resemblance with the guitar other than in name. In the early 19th century, Fernando Sor became one of the most prolific composers for, and promoters of, the guitar as a 'concert' instrument. The first 'electric' guitars were nothing more then existing acoustic guitars that had been modified to include a magnetic pick-up. The first amplifiers came about around the same time and were pioneered by Leo Fender. Leo Fender was also the innovator of the electric bass guitar which he invented for live use along side the guitar, as a normal contrabass could not compete in terms of volume - The first model being the Fender Precision Bass.

The first mass production guitar was the Broadcaster, which we now know as the Telecaster, which was released in 1948. He later went on to design and produce the Stratocaster, in 1954, probably the most well known electric guitar to date. The next step was in the vihuela, which originated in Spain sometime in the 15th century. The downside of this construction was that the lute was not a very loud instrument, meaning it could not be played along side other instruments. The guitar as we know today appears to be an ancestor of the lute. This has mainly been in the attempt of producing increased sustain or simply due to the scarcity of certain woods. These included broadening the width and thinning the depth of the body, increasing the curve of the waist, and adding internal bracing - all in effort to amplify the sound. The 20th century has seen the majority of the instrument's improvements. This is due to a number of artworks that depict guitar-like instruments being used at various times throughout history. The guitar became popular throughout Europe during the 16th and 17th centuries and by the late 17th century a fifth course of strings had been added below the other four. The first written mention of the guitar as a distinct instrument is from the 14th century. Many ancient Egyptian paintings portray musical instruments that could be mistaken for the guitar. Many tried to amplify the sound further by electrifying the guitar. However, the China Custom Mechanical structure Powder Metal Parts Factory guitar was not accepted well with the 'serious' musical community, hence the reason there is very few concertos written for the instrument - and is still dismissed by many classically trained musicians today.

The lute had four strings which would be plucked, not strummed as with a guitar. Many historians claim the guitar originated at various points in time. The body was oval in shape and had a rounded back. The classical guitar was then modified to make the steel string acoustic guitar we know today. It was Les Paul that developed the first 'solid' bodied guitar which he named 'The Log' - due to it being little more then a plank of wood with a neck and two double coil pick-ups attached. In this very early form the instrument had three double courses (or pairs) of strings plus a single string (tuned the highest in pitch), similar in comparison to the lute, as mentioned earlier. This is mainly due to the fact there have been a number of similar instruments throughout the ages. It wasn't until the 16th century that the two instruments were 'combined', in a manner of speaking, when an instrument was made with a body like that of the vihuela but closer in size to the lute. It was here the invention of the magnetic pick-up occurred. It also had added treble strings, again arranged in pairs and was made to be strummed rather than plucked as the lute was. Although missing many of the elements of today's guitar, it is an important step in the guitars evolution. Many of the first attempts were made by the Martin Company in the 1930's. This caused many problems due to the fact that they had hollow bodies, which would resonate the sound produced by the amp as well as the strings of the guitar - which creates 'feedback'. It was him, and others like him, which paved the way for Andrés Segovia to emerge and help bring the guitar to the immense popularity it enjoys today. He went on to sell the idea to Gibson who still produce the 'Les Paul' model that you see today. It is very unclear whether this took place in France or in Italy, but the resulting instrument was very similar to that of which we know today. Again this resulted in an even louder instrument. It was Leo Fender however, that really brought the electric guitar into mass production and made it available at far less a cost then all previous attempts (more on the Fender story can be seen on our 'History of Fender' section).. Nowadays a complete range of guitars are available, from the lower priced entry level models to the premium custom shop models for all of us to enjoy, what ever our level of ability.

The end result meant the guitar could now be played along side other instruments without struggling to compete in terms of volume. A popular theory is that the guitar could have been invented by the classical-era Greeks. It is very difficult to trace a line back to the exact birth of the instrument we know as the guitar today, as there is a lot of myth and uncertainty surrounding its origins. Some believe the guitar in its earliest form dates back some 4000 years, however no-one really knows for sure. The vihuela had a slightly 'pinched' waist - less pronounced than today's guitar and a smaller body then the lute. The double courses were changed to single strings, and a sixth string was added above the existing five. The main differences have been in the choice of materials used in the manufacture of the guitar. The late 18th-19th century, guitar makers changed many aspects of the instruments design

The spontaneous spasms that characterize ecstatic dance allow us to express spirit with the body. They romp, wrestle, snow slide, chase each other and play catch-and-release with their dinner. The living world seeks out pleasure and avoids pain without fear of appearing lazy, foolish or greedy. Unlike the anteater we try to interpret other's interpretation of us. This is agony for both inner peace and performance. This is providing that you keep trying. We don't have to jump in the water to enjoy this experience. We can let this bother us, or like the anteater, we can dine on what we deserve. I once watched a show called Pet Star, where an anteater was called to perform an exceptional feat: Climb up a ladder, eat from a bucket, and climb back down. He was intent on claiming his berry-delicious reward. This is contrary to ego but so is spirit. Yet when we make a mistake we are often the first to notice and hope to God no one else does. Similarly, a misplaced streak on a canvas can create abstract perfection if we desire. Whether or not anyone was impressed didn't matter. We forget this in our rush to achieve and amass. His trainer/owner watched anxiously as the scaly critter ascended the metal stairs. You otter play Almost all animals play and act silly when young. Failure is relativeThough his efforts were obvious the anteater didn't perform as desired by others.

All he won was some berries, but then again that's all he wanted. On the road to enlightenment, don't forget to laugh……. . Most of us, myself include, are not nearly so free spirited. By looking at their actions from a spiritual rather than biological viewpoint we have a tool to unhinge ourselves from our hang-ups. Nobody has the right to determine the value of your dreams. Whether you want enlightenment, a BMW or the ideal vitamin regimen your work will be rewarded. Besides unknotting our muscles, ecstatic dance unties our mind. Getting what you wantWhat is your heart's desire? If it doesn't seem important to others you may be told, or may feel that your efforts are wasted. Joyful errors People make mistakes; animals evolve. Unlike us he doesn't wait for the music to start to move in a musical fashion. But it wasn't the anteater that cringed- it was the owner.  We judge ourselves so harshly. Spiritual aspirants who fast for greater consciousness believe the same but have a lot less fun in the process. For others, and unfortunately, jeers. For some this will be met with cheers. When did we become so reserved? Play and dance help us to become more spontaneous. I remember what that anteater taught me: There are many mistakes on our way to victory, and others may have not feel we have earned it.  It takes courage to march to the beat of a different drum.

Interestingly, feeling humiliated and being humiliated are two separate matters. Dancing our private dance in front of the marching crowd is a challenge. There were a series of clunks on his journey as his tail patted the ladder and a louder clunk when he reached the bucket. It's been called the " id" by Freud, and hedonism by zealots. Most of us are concerned about looking foolish or feeling like we're on display to be laughed at. This will make the journey a lot lighter. For example, I haven't tobogganed since I was eleven and my romping is confined to a spirited jog. That anteater didn't catch any awards that day. A heap of berries and throngs of audience members bore witness to shame. We have the same choice. Labeling this limits our experience of it. I could learn a lot from an otter. The otter has a better idea.  The irony is that for many animals this creates productivity, dignity and unselfishness. In the otter's game of dinner lost-and-found he shows us that losing can be just as much fun as winning. We can turn a stumble into slapstick if we have the confidence of Chaplin. Still for the sake of reference I'll describe this very free, intrinsically joyful aspect of being as "animal. The blushing young man proceeded to stammer out excuses for the creature, which by this time had climbed down and was happily eating his dinner off the stage floor. Caught in the moment we may realize a meditative type bliss. Dances with spirit Play is one of the few ways we can lose ourselves without trying. Play is good. It's not. His body is free and expressive. He chooses to move with the fluidity of waves rather than the rigidity of trees."  Animal encapsulates it. Dance can feel like play but for some it is meditation. Mind-body exercises like pilates, yoga and tai-chi cultivate this creative body motion. Otters continue this into old age, making him a fun furry dude to be around.

As natural beings our desires are natural, and as long as they don't harm anyone it is our divine right to aspire to them. Either way we must persist. The anteater dealt with this in a better way than most people. Though historically this practice has been thought to exist only among humans it seems that the otter, with his flipping and wriggling, would make a great ecstatic dancer. He relinquishes without regret or strain. Yet in practicing courage we develop it. He had tipped it over. Most important: Play is good. What if the anteater was to stop striving when applause wasn't forthcoming? Motivated by the end result instead of appearances he continued. Just remember to dance and play along Chinese Custom Powder Metals Parts Suppliers the way. When feeling like we've failed we interpret every blink as shock and mouth twitch as dismay. You may not get your prize in the way or at the time you first imagined, but it will come to you. This is between you and the Universal Source. Under the glaring stage lights that illuminated his owner's red-face and sweaty brow, no change could be found in the anteater. In truth, the animal self is the part of us that reacts naturally. In the otter's dinner-game he loses lunch but finds freedom: He doesn't need to eat if he doesn't want to. This creates the disappointment we fear. When else can we do this? Compared to ecstatic dance our movements are rigid as a robot's arm.  Distinctions between right and are necessary in terms of moral issues but they have no meaning when it comes to trying new things
